Background

Dr. Kolberg has over 25 years of experience as an organizational leadership consultant specializing in the development of organizational culture, strategic leadership development, and execution management. She is the owner of StrateGEMS LLC and managing partner of The RECHARGE Institute. She is a certified mediator, a certified Gazelles International Coach, and is on the Gazelles advisory team. She spent 15 years in sales/marketing and executive leadership. Dr. Kolberg taught at Eastern Michigan University in Curriculum Instruction and has taught both online and in residency since 1996. She has developed doctoral curricula and has chaired numerous dissertations. She has had two students win dissertation of the year awards. She has spent 15 years mentoring business owners in a two-year community business mentoring program and led a business partner’s peer-to-peer forum. Dr. Kolberg has served on local and national boards, conducted social sector board facilitation, and has taken awards in Innovation, Core Values, and Unsung Hero for local accomplishments. Dr. Kolberg is the faculty coordinator for Walden’s Ph.D. in Management program. She works with the program director to handle student issues, faculty scheduling, and program coordination. She also mentors students in the dissertation process.
