Background

Dr. Black is a seasoned higher education leader with years of administrative and academic experience, ranging from leadership to teaching positions in small and large colleges and universities. A dynamic speaker, his recent conference presentations have included “Motivating the Online Graduate Student” and “The Dissertation Marathon.” Dr. Black is an innovative developer of strategic educational programs and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals, most recently in Contemporary Issues in Education Research. Dr. Black joined the D.B.A. faculty in 2013 and mentors students through the doctoral study process.
