Dr. Hockin is a former director for strategic management and liaison for organizational development and change management for ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He has mentored more than 30 students to completion of their doctoral degrees and continues to mentor Walden D.B.A. students. Dr. Hockin has taught hundreds of courses in multiple educational institutions—including online universities—and corporate environments and has served on more than 250 doctoral committees. He has also served on the Board of Examiners for the Minnesota Quality Award and the Malcolm Baldrige National Performance Excellence Program Quality Award as an evaluator and judge. He joined Walden’s faculty in 2009.
