Dr. Heinrich served for 20 years in the U.S. Army as an intelligence analyst across Europe, Central America, and most of the U.S. For more than a decade, he was a teacher and administrator for at-risk youth in alternative schools and a rural school district. He volunteers in regional youth initiatives in support of at-risk youth and families. In 2011, he co-authored Do Children Drop Out of School in Kindergarten? A Reflective, Systems-Based Approach for Deep Change. He joined Walden’s faculty in 2011, supporting D.B.A. students completing their doctoral studies. Dr. Heinrich continues to consult, offering action learning and program evaluation supports for organizational improvement initiatives.
