Dr. D’Urso is owner of D’Urso Consultancy, which provides leadership and management training to organizations. Previously, she was the director of academic affairs and a college chair for a large university in Tampa, Fla. She has also held senior human resource positions, most recently with Bausch & Lomb Pharmaceuticals in Tampa. She is a green belt in Six Sigma and has completed coursework for the black belt. Dr. D’Urso has received a Faculty of the Year award from the University of Phoenix and was awarded a VIP award from the National Association of Professional Women in 2010. She works for a major publishing house as a subject matter expert and holds a mortgage broker license in Florida. She joined Walden’s doctoral faculty in 2011.
