Dr. Hagan is a registered nurse with a background in critical care. A former tenured associate professor at Mt. San Jacinto College, he still teaches BSN and MSN students via online programs. Dr Hagan has a keen interest in business processes, especially healthcare, as well as the business principles that affect the profits and operations of business entities. He has co-authored a chapter in a leading nursing textbook, Medical-Surgical Nursing: Critical Thinking for Collaborative Care. He is interested in business policy, management, leadership, and ethics as they apply to the corporate arena. He joined Walden in 2013 to mentor students in the D.B.A. program.
