Background

Dr. Barclay spent more than 20 years in executive management for high-technology corporations and is co-founder of a business coaching firm specializing in strategic planning and performance management. She was an early-adopter in creating technology-based communication programs, including implementation of an internal worldwide satellite network and online training. Since 1996, her specialty has been providing web conferencing services. Dr. Barclay is co-author of The Live E-Learning Cookbook: Recipes for Success, has published a chapter in the edited textbook, Flexible Learning in an Information Society, has written articles for various journals and training publications, and presents at business conferences. She joined Walden’s faculty in 2010, teaching business and research courses for the College of Management and Technology.
