Background

An analyst, educator, and researcher, Dr. Barclay’s industry research and analysis projects focus on institutional effectiveness and program performance. He has served as a senior outcomes analyst, management analyst, operations analyst, and marketing analyst for various organizations. Dr. Barclay also has served as a distance education director, management program chair, and faculty member for higher education institutions. He has been a member of accreditation, curriculum, and ethics committees, and was an assessor for the Department of Defense Third Party Education Assessment program. A reviewer for the Academy of Management and the Journal of Instructional Research, Dr. Barclay is a member of the American Association of University Professors, American Mensa, the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, and the National Business Education Association. He has taught more than 100 course sections at the associate, undergraduate, and graduate level, in both traditional and online classrooms.
