Dr. Booker has worked in education since 1997. She has taught online at the high school through the doctoral level. Her diverse professional experience includes managing a group home for adults with mental illness and supporting mentally ill children. She has also served as director of ombuds services, project manager, and academic liaison, and has co-owned a small business. Publications include a skills guide for professional development lectures and a nutrition brochure for a food bank in Tennessee. She is currently writing an article on student success and motivators. Dr. Booker joined Walden in 2013 and guides students through the proposal stage of their dissertations.
