Background

Dr. Domerchie worked as a psychology counselor and case manager for individuals, families, patients with dual diagnoses, and children diagnosed with attention deficit disorders. She transitioned from working in clinical and counseling psychology to organizational psychology and human resource management. Her professional experience includes multi-corporate responsibilities as director and vice president of human resources, administration, and operations. She was a contributing subject matter expert and writer for the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) California human resource certification exam review books and presentations. She served as board member and CEU course program chair for the California Employer Advisory Council and as program and curriculum advisory board member for various colleges and universities. Dr. Domerchie joined Walden in 2011 and teaches courses in the M.S. in Human Resource Management program. In addition to her role in academia, Dr. Domerchie continues to consult with small business owners in areas of business startup, development, and designing processes. She presently serves as a board member for Golden Hills Ranch Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation Inc. in the role of vice president/director for HR and organizational development.
