Background
Following a 21-year career as an Air Force fighter pilot, Dr. Tway joined Walden in 1996 after completing his doctoral studies, which culminated in receiving the International Society for Performance Improvement’s Outstanding Student Research Award. His academic philosophy is that he and his colleagues (how he often refers to students) are on a journey together to enhance knowledge and the ability to conduct outstanding research that has direct application to social change.
