Dr. Faint has more than 30 years of experience as a business leader and consultant within the nonprofit sector. As an executive director of a women’s addiction treatment facility and a long-term addictions counselor, she developed a strong interest in methods of social change, social service agencies, law enforcement, and educational systems that strengthen communities and empower families. Her doctoral dissertation examined knowledge retention in law enforcement, traumatizing conditions for officers, and services for those who retire or leave law enforcement careers. Dr. Faint is a member of Walden’s faculty, working as a methodologist within the College of Management and Technology.
