Dr. Tipton has spent more than 10 years as a professor and dean at a university in Florida. Her background includes teaching and developing courses online and teaching in-residence and blended classes in business, technology, and international business. As dean, she opened a campus in Florida and implemented changes in the university’s online learning environment. She joined Walden’s faculty in 2009 as a mentor and chair in the D.B.A. program. Dr. Tipton is a guest lecturer for universities and businesses, and she continues to consult on new technology with schools and business in staff and faculty development.
