Prior to joining Walden in 2011, Dr. Tschida served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer and a Fulbright Scholar in Tanzania. He enjoys teaching environmental health and international health and human nutrition. Dr. Tschida received his master’s degree in the field of environmental health and his doctoral degree in international health and human nutrition. He is focusing his research on community-based, sustainable interventions to reduce health disparities and improve health outcomes among high-risk populations both in the United States and internationally.
