Dr. Burcin has been working in the field of college health for more than 12 years as a health educator, a faculty member, and as an administrator. She has taught numerous undergraduate courses in public health, women and gender studies, and wellness. Dr. Burcin has published articles in several journals, including the Journal of American College Health. She currently serves as the chair of the American College Health Association’s National Health Objectives Coalition that will produce the Healthy Campus 2020 document (the companion document of Healthy People 2020). Dr. Burcin joined Walden’s faculty in the spring of 2010 and teaches courses in the School of Health Sciences.
