Dr. Jones joined Walden in 2002 as a faculty member for the School of Health Sciences and currently serves as a faculty mentor for Walden’s College of Health Services. He teaches or has taught several courses at Walden including Introduction to Community Health, Introduction to Public Health, Public Campaigns for Health Promotion and Health Education, and Foundations for Graduate Study in Public Health. Dr. Jones has also taught courses in epidemiology, health planning, and human disease at other universities. Dr. Jones has been the principal investigator for several community-based projects featuring child safety-seat use, agricultural-related injuries in children, and personal watercraft safety. He has several publications and presentations related to injury epidemiology and prevention of injuries among children and adolescents.
