Background

Dr. Anderson has been a licensed physical therapist for more than 32 years. She is a board-certified geriatric clinical specialist. Dr. Anderson is active in her professional organization, American Physical Therapy Association, and serves as the current editor of the Home Study series for the Section on Geriatrics. She is a consultant for the Minnesota Department of Health in the area of community initiatives and issues of long-term care. She is the author of many journal articles and several chapters in textbooks on healthcare management or healthcare policy. She joined the Walden faculty in 2007. Dr. Anderson is involved with adjunct faculty work in the areas of healthcare management, health policy, quality assurance, and healthcare performance improvement. She serves as a dissertation mentor, committee member, and University Research Reviewer (URR).
