Background
Dr. Walker joined Walden’s faculty in 2011 as the program coordinator of the M.S. in Health Informatics program. She was previously a faculty member and program director of the M.S. in Health Informatics program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has served as a dental officer in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army Reserve, taught at dental schools, had a private practice in periodontics, and worked for the American Dental Association. Currently, Dr. Walker is a commissioner for the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education.
