Dr. Arnemann completed his M.S. in Counseling with a dual specialization in marriage and family and mental health at Barry University in Miami Shores, Fla. He currently serves as a work-therapy psychologist for veterans diagnosed with serious mental illness. Arnemann also conducts research in a national study involving the treatment of military-related chronic post-traumatic stress syndrome with the drug Risperidone. His areas of professional interest and training include trauma, geropsychology, group therapy, serious mental illness, neuropsychological and psychological assessment, substance abuse, minority issues (ethnic and sexual), and persons with disabilities. His theoretical orientation is Adlerian, using a brief psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approach.
