In addition to being a contributing faculty member for Walden’s School of Counseling, Dr. Saginak coordinates the School Counseling program with the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. She has experience as a licensed professional counselor, school counselor, and middle school teacher. Dr. Saginak has dedicated most of her career to education, as a teacher, counselor, prevention specialist, and consultant. She has been a counselor educator for 15 years, and spends most of her classroom time teaching school counseling, counseling process, group counseling, lifespan development, and addictions counseling. Dr. Saginak has presented at regional and national counseling conferences, published in peer-reviewed journals, and co-written three school counseling textbooks.
