Dr. Sheperis is the counselor education program coordinator and an assistant professor in community counseling at Delta State University. She has more than 20 years of clinical experience in the provision of mental health services to diverse populations. A counselor educator since 1999, Dr. Sheperis teaches master’s and doctoral courses in ethics, supervision, skills, sexuality, and diagnostics. Active in professional organizations at the state and national levels, she currently serves as president of the Mississippi Licensed Professional Counselors Association.
