Last Chance to Apply for More Than $225,000 in Education Scholarships

Educators make an important difference every day. Walden’s Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership, a leading provider of online programs designed to enhance educator effectiveness, is committed to helping our nation’s educators make an even bigger difference by furthering their own education.

In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, the Riley College of Education and Leadership is offering more than $225,000 in scholarships to deserving educators who are making a positive impact on their school or community.

Scholarship opportunities are available to new students who enroll in bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral programs at Walden. You can apply for a scholarship when you enroll as a new student.

In recognition of education leaders’ important contributions to positive social change, Walden will award five $20,000 scholarships* to post-master’s educators who:

  • Have had a positive impact on their local community’s education challenges.
  • Enroll as a new student in the Ph.D. in Education, the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.), or any Education Specialist (Ed.S.) program.

Ann “Tunky” Riley Excellence in Education Scholarship

In memory of Ann “Tunky” Riley, a dedicated teacher and advocate for quality public education, Walden is offering two $25,000 scholarships* to educators who:

  • Make superior contributions to their students, colleagues, schools, and communities.
  • Enroll as a new student in any Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral program.
