Dr. James has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels, both on-site and online. For the past 10 years, she served as senior vice president at Upper Iowa University, where she supervised the university’s online program, 16 domestic learning centers, and international centers in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Vancouver, B.C. Dr. James has been actively involved with regional and program accreditation. She is particularly interested in the developmental nature of learning and has presented on the topic at workshops around the country. Lifelong learning and the promotion of positive social change are important to her as an educator.
