Dr. Ortiz has taught at various universities throughout New Mexico and California. He is currently a faculty member in the Ph.D. in Education program at Walden. He has published articles, conducted research, and presented his findings at both national and international conferences. Dr. Ortiz is also the director of an early literacy, father-training program (Project DADS), whose primary goal is to help parents recognize that their involvement is important to their children’s learning.
