Dr. Locke is an educational consultant, a faculty member at two universities, and the lead autism specialist in Bloomington’s public schools. She has a business background as well as extensive experience working with people with disabilities. At the University of Nebraska, she earned a PhD in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism and Augmentative and Alternative Communication. She has spent more than 12 years of her 30-year career as a special education teacher of K–12 pupils with severe disabilities and autism. Locke has provided training and support to thousands of educators and families throughout the world who are interested in expanding the capabilities of their students through accessible and enjoyable shared experiences.
