Background
Dr. Shepard has been a faculty member at Walden since April 2004 and is the coordinator of the Ph.D. in Education program with a specialization in Educational Technology, as well as the Ed.S. in Educational Technology. She also teaches and mentors doctoral students. She is currently engaged in research on the use of electronic portfolios for assessing professional standards in teacher education. Her areas of interest include technology integration in K–12 and higher education, distance education, collaboration, and teacher education.
