Originally, Dr. Esposito had planned to teach for two years while studying for and applying to medical schools. She soon found, however, that teaching was her calling. After six years as a classroom teacher, Dr. Esposito pursued doctoral study in the cultural foundations of education and qualitative methods at Syracuse University. She has now been employed as a professor of research methods for eight years. She enjoys engaging with diverse groups of students and helping them with research designs.
