Background
Dr. Jones earned his Ed.D. from the University of Houston in the Department of Educational Leadership and Cultural Studies. His background includes extensive experience in elementary and secondary school principalship, as well as eight years of service as a school superintendent. He was recently named superintendent of the year for the Region II area of Texas, and his school board was recognized as one of the top five boards in the state by the Texas Association of School Administrators in 2005.
