Background

Dr. Salter became a Walden faculty member in 2005, serving as Walden’s Higher Education and Adult Learning specialization coordinator. Beginning in 2006, he was faculty chair for student success in the doctoral programs in education. He is now the director of the Ph.D. in Education program. As a scholar and practitioner, he looks for strategies that help to “lift up” all learners. His favorite aspect of being on the faculty at Walden is helping doctoral students see their roles as “stewards of their disciplines.”
