Dr. McElroy has taught in the K–12 setting and in higher education since 1986. He began his affiliation with Walden University in 2005 in The Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership. He is an SBSF 7100 mentor and a lecturer for EDUC 8008 Foundations for Doctoral Studies, and he sits on doctoral committees for the Ed.D. and Ph.D. degree programs of study. He is a strong proponent of Knowledge Area Modules and of Walden’s student-centered approach to education.
