Walden University is authorized by the Washington Higher Education Coordinating Board (HECB) and meets the requirements and minimum educational standards established for degree-granting institutions under the Degree Authorization Act. This authorization is valid until April 1, 2009, and authorizes Walden University to advertise, recruit, and offer residencies for the following programs: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; Master of Arts in Teaching; Master of Business Administration; Master of Public Administration; Master of Public Health; Master of Science in Education; Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling; Master of Science degree program in Nursing; Master of Science in Public Health; Master of Science in Psychology; Doctor of Education; Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Management and Decision Sciences; Doctor of Philosophy in Education; Doctor of Philosophy in Health Services; Doctor of Philosophy in Human Services; Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology; Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health; and Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy and Administration.
