This award is presented annually to an M.B.A. graduate who has developed an outstanding plan supporting a new venture and exhibited exceptional, original graduate-level work in Walden’s M.B.A. program.
Each academic year, the M.B.A. instructors who teach the capstone course will nominate M.B.A. program projects in the Outstanding New Venture category. These projects are reviewed by M.B.A. faculty members and a list of finalists is then selected. Based on the award selection criteria, the M.B.A. Awards committee will choose the recipient of the M.B.A. Program Project Award—Outstanding New Venture Plan.
