Universidad del Valle de Mexico and Walden University Offer Dual Degree to UVM Students

Baltimore—June 27, 2005—Walden University announced it will offer a dual degree in conjunction with the Universidad del Valle de Mexico (UVM). Both universities are part of the Laureate Education, Inc. global network of accredited universities.

UVM students in the School of Administration and Economics on several campuses will have the opportunity to obtain a United States degree without ever leaving the country. The UVM student will fulfill the degree requirements from both universities by taking courses from UVM at the same time they take courses online from Walden University. Students can complete both programs in nine semesters. All students will be required to have a minimum score of 550 on the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) as a requirement of completion of the program.

This international program is offered by Laureate Education, Inc. to its UVM students as a result of its leadership in education at an international scale and its far-reaching global network of universities.
