In its 2012 Top 100 Producers of Minority Graduate Degrees analysis, Diverse: Issues in Higher Education ranked Walden University a top producer of minority master’s and doctoral graduates among all colleges and universities nationwide. View a list of 2012 rankings.

G.I. Jobs named Walden to its 2011 list of Military Friendly Schools, which honors the top 15% of colleges, universities, and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace America’s veterans as students.

Latin Trade magazine included Walden’s M.B.A. in its annual list of business schools with a global reach. Walden was the only distance-learning program in an overall list of 27 that included Harvard University, the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and other universities around the world (March 2009).

Walden has been recognized as a leader in providing advanced degrees to Hispanics by The Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education Magazine. Walden is ranked 11th nationally in Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education’s annual list of graduate schools with the highest Hispanic enrollment. (April 2011)

U.S. News & World Report again identified Walden as having the No. 1 largest online graduate public health program by enrollment, the No. 2 largest online graduate nursing program by enrollment, and for the fourth year in a row, Walden was identified as having the No. 1 largest online graduate program in education by enrollment. Walden also was identified as having the No. 3 largest online graduate management program by enrollment (May 2010).
