The Walden experience has inspired me as a teacher because I have challenged myself in ways that I’ve asked my students to challenge themselves. Walden has made me a more effective educator because it asks me to take a look at what I’m doing and why am I doing it. And sometimes I think, “Yes, why am I doing that?” I have to reevaluate, refresh my teaching methods and make some different choices. I’ve been really excited to share my Walden experience with some of my colleagues because I get so excited online when I learn something new or hear a new idea, I take it immediately to the teachers in my building and say, “What about this?  We should try this technique or that technique.” And I [have] really been thrilled that I can share it with them.
