In the master’s of science [in] leadership program we use simulation to help people develop specific skills for reading situations, for understanding facial expressions, and for working through interpersonal interactions. You can iteratively go back and run situations and practice, try different strategies in working with the person sitting across the desk from you, virtually, to see if you can change your influence patterns, the way you get them to respond. So it’s a unique way to use a simulator but one we think that is very powerful.
