Program Highlights

As a student in the M.S. in Leadership program, you have the option to participate in a variety of learning experiences and resources designed to give you the competitive advantage in the marketplace. They include

Field Study

Collaborate with a Laureate network professor to develop and work on a personalized project that can be applied to your company or particular area of interest.

Study Abroad

Experience firsthand international cultures and business management styles through Walden’s study abroad program. Optional one- or two-week seminars in Europe, Asia, or South America are designed for the working professional.

Capstone in Leadership: The Social Impact Vision and Project

You can put your newfound knowledge to work on a real-world practical project through your capstone course, in which you will develop a service learning proposal that helps you to identify actual opportunities in your community, and prepare a complete action plan that can include such components as a cost-benefit analysis, request for funding from a government agency, and a problem/opportunity assessment. The final product is a plan based on real-world opportunities that may be implemented following graduation or used to validate program learning outcomes.
