Leadership and Management – RN Track

As a nurse, you shape the future of patient care every day. Through our Leadership and Management specialization, gain the knowledge and confidence you’ll need to advance your career and become a leader in the field of nursing.

Applicants who have a diploma, associate degree in nursing, or bachelor’s degree in a discipline other than nursing and are licensed registered nurses may be accepted in the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program, provided they fulfill the general education requirements. Once applicants meet these requirements, they are admitted to Walden and begin taking the foundational courses. Students then advance to the core curriculum, the specialization courses, and finally, the capstone courses.

  • 59 semester credit hours
    • Introductory course (1 sem. cr.)
    • Foundational courses (24 sem. cr.)
    • Core courses (12 sem. cr.)
    • Specialization courses (16 sem. cr.)
    • Capstone courses (6 sem. cr.)
