MSN Education
Graduates of the Walden Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) have the knowledge and skills to be leaders in the profession and contribute to positive social change in their communities and throughout the world. The Education specialization addresses the growing need for nurse educators. Nurses also provide essential education in staff development, patient/family, schools, occupational, and community settings.
Students who enter the program with a bachelor’s degree in nursing complete the following core curriculum and then progress on to the courses in the Education specialization.
Completion Requirements
- 41 semester credit hours
- Core courses (19 sem. cr.)
- Specialization courses (16 sem. cr.)
- Capstone courses (6 sem. cr.)
- Program of Study and Professional Development Plan
- A minimum GPA of 3.0
