Program Courses

Courses are offered in a prescribed sequence, typically concluding at the end of five consecutive semesters. Most courses are three credits each and run eight weeks in length and are delivered via Walden’s online learning platform.

Some learning resources, such as textbooks and DVDs, are mailed to you while others are available through the online classroom. Courses are designed to meet Minnesota competencies at the knowledge, skills, and dispositions levels. The program is designed to offer you opportunities to work both in groups and individually.

You will work with other candidates and with your course instructors to discuss content, assignments, projects, and experiences in the field. Assignments are submitted through the online classroom and are evaluated and graded by course instructors.
