Learning Outcomes

In Walden’s Ph.D. in Education program, you will

  1. Continually update knowledge of educational scholarship and conduct research to make improvements for the benefit of all learners.
  2. Analyze and assess educational research and/or practices, identifying those that will be able to create positive social change for our diverse learners.
  3. Design and conduct ethical research projects in education.
  4. Produce and present research or project studies in accordance with the standards of academic practice. (accurate references and citations, and a clear, succinct, and persuasive writing style).
  5. Utilize effective communication skills in presenting academic research so as to elicit social change.
  6. Affirm diversity and demonstrate awareness of global interrelationships within the literature and their own scholarly projects to ensure positive social change.
  7. Disseminate research to various stakeholders in the educational system in order to effect positive social change for our diverse learners.
