Teacher Leadership*

The Teacher Leadership specialization is designed for educators who want to continue teaching while assuming influential roles in their school and community. It focuses on the “educator as leader” and empowers experienced master educators to effect change and improve student learning.

Completion Requirements

  • 54 minimum semester credit hours
    • Foundation course (6 sem. cr.)
    • Applied Research (6 sem. cr.)
    • Core Courses (24 sem. cr.)
    • Project Study (6 sem. cr.)
    • Doctoral study intensive (a minimum of 12 sem. cr.)
  • 1 face-to-face residency
  • ePortfolio
