General Program
The General Program offers an interdisciplinary approach to the study of health services. You’ll study several issues of health and human behavior, including health and healing, health and professional behavior, health and social behavior, and health and lifespan issuesNote: You have the option to design your own course of study; however, it must fit within the existing structure of the General Program. It must also be developed in consultation with program faculty and approved by the faculty chair.
Completion Requirements
- 134 total quarter credit hours
- Foundation Course (6 cr.)
- Core Knowledge Area Modules (KAMs) (42 cr.)
- Foundation Research Sequence (14 cr.)
- Specialized Knowledge Area Modules (KAMs) (42 cr.)
- Proposal, dissertation, and oral presentation (30 cr.)
- 20 days of residency (two 4-day and two 6-day residencies)
- Professional Development Plan and Program of Study
- Minimum 10 quarters enrollment
- Satisfactory progress in all SBSF 7100 coursework
