Learning Outcomes

Specifically, within a few years of graduation, and with continued learning and attained experience, graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (IT) should be able to:

  • Develop IT solutions to support and serve the needs of employers and communities in the global society
  • Integrate technologies, products and services from multiple sources to satisfy business needs
  • Implement IT projects within constraints, including time, budget, and quality
  • Work collaboratively and productively and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including users, managers, other IT staff, and vendors, to deliver solutions meeting user needs
  • Secure, hold and succeed in a position in the IT field, that will enable them to be employed in progressively more responsible technical positions in the IT field, potentially including positions that are supervisory or managerial in nature
  • Demonstrate ethical behavior as IT professionals, sensitivity to the impact of technology on the individual, the organization and the society, and responsible practices in the IT professions
