Academic Residency: Research Presentation, January 2010
Kenneth Powers, Ph.D., The Richard W. Riley College of Education and Leadership. Dr. Powers’ research explores the personal qualities of teachers at Title I schools—schools that receive funds from the U.S. Department of Education to meet the needs of at-risk and low income students—and how these attributes contributed to their student’s success in schools that aim to narrow the racial and socioeconomic gaps in U.S. public education.
